Every year, I hardly get any Christmas presents from my students. I'm not surprised by this, but sometimes I'm a little disappointed. Not that I want anything. But a card would be nice. (By the way, it's not just me who doesn't get anything. None of our teachers get much. I think it has to do with where I teach.) Well, anyway, I got my one little gift (the most I've ever gotten in any given year is four) and I was feeling kinda miffed. Then a student handed me this note. Much better than a coffee cup any day!
She also wrote me another one which cracked me up. Then another student wrapped up a candy cane with notebook paper that she had decorated herself:)
This is my first year teaching kindergarten. I taught first for ten years and loved it. I also taught second for two years. I love teaching and can't imagine doing anything else. I'm married to a wonderful man and we have an adorable daughter we just love to pieces.
